Crochet Baby Rattles

I got the idea for making these little rattles from some I saw in a shop.  I really liked them and was about to buy one for a gift but, then I looked at the price tag and decided not to.  I thought to myself, they can't be too difficult to make. So I took a good look at them and went home to make not just one, but three.
I made them in 3 sections starting with the stem. I then crocheted the red hat, sewed on the white dots and put a bell in it.  After that I stuffed it with wool and sewed it together.
They make a very lovely gift and don't even take long to make.

Baby Alpaca

Here is a little baby alpaca I have crocheted using baby alpaca yarn. I made it for my sister and her husben because they are both mad about alpacas. Alpaca yarn is really soft and very nice to work with, making this little alpaca has made me mad about alpaca too.  I found the patten on Etsy from a really lovely shop where you can buy lots of very clever pattens for little animals.  Here is a link to the shop.  PlanetJune's Esty shop

Red Slippers

I was ask to make some slipper for a little girl, I was told that her favourite colour is red and that she defiantly wanted flowers.  I hope now that she will have nice warm toes as the cold, dark, winter evening approach us.

They just fitted my little girl who was not very happy when she had to take them off after the photo shoot.
