A Pencil and A Crayon Case

I needed to make a crayon case for my big girl who has just started school.  I wanted to make it with some really fun fabric, I found one with flowers and birds and lots of bright colours all in one piece.  

My girls really love drawing but they always fight over their pencils, so I have also made a pencil case for my little girl to keep her new pencils in with the left over fabric.  Now they have there own pencils and pencil cases, drawing time is a little more peaceful.

Beetroot relish

I just love beetroot, and in this country its really hard to find fresh beetroot. Maybe because people don't like it or maybe because its too much work to cook so no one buys it.   We have a lot in the garden and so I made some yummy relish.  This takes a long time to make and it is very messy but I think well worth the work as it tastes delicious. 

Red Slippers

I was ask to make some slipper for a little girl, I was told that her favourite colour is red and that she defiantly wanted flowers.  I hope now that she will have nice warm toes as the cold, dark, winter evening approach us.  

They just fitted my little girl who was not very happy when she had to take them off after the photo shoot.
